One of the wires was hanging loose when it arrived. If I had plugged it in my hard drive would have fried.
They did not refund the shipping cost, so I am lost $5.86 on their quality issue. I tried to get this corrected and they did not even contact me.
I bought an external 500GB drive instead and copied the data to it. |

My motherboard on my desktop failed. I chose to not rebuild my system. I was able to tranfer data from a desktop HDD to my laptop without any difficulty. I wish it came with a shell to perm mount the 3.5 it as external drive. |

I have only used it on IDE drives so far but in every case it works like a charm. Of course you do have to set the jumper for Master Mode on the HDD. I found a 8 x 5 x 2.5 aluminum trimmed medicine case at a WM store that EVERYTHING goes into for convenient storage. A very nice and cheap storage case so none of the cables get lost. |
