This easy to use external hard drive enclosure is easy to use – it’s hot swappable, Plug and Play. Supports capacities up to 2TB. Lay it down or stand it up. No matter how you use the Ultra aluminum enclosure, it will meet and exceed industry standards. Comes with external power supply and USB cables.

I was replacing my hard drives, and wanted to use one of the old drives as an external back up. I wanted something with eSata, and an external power. It was a little more expensive than I wanted to spend, and without a fan I was concerned about the heat issues. Surprisingly, cool although it spends most of its time turned off since I only use it as backup and system image. Sleek design. long cables. Pretty nice little unit for what my intentions. |

Installing a SATA drive in the Ultra enclosure was simple. They even supplied a small screwdriver. It looks elegant on the desk and seems to keep the drive running cool--no need for an internal fan. Gives you a choice of eSATA or USB connections to your computer,too. The price was better than for other similar enclosures I could find. |

everything works exactly as it should be. Easy to replace the drive (if used for backups and archiving). I can recommend it. (Haven't tried the e-SATA yet.) |

Easy to install the HD and hook up. Watch the video and you will see just how easy it is. Works perfectly and looks great too. It does get quite warm, if it had a fan I would have given it 5 stars on performance and features.. |
