Works awesome, extremely quiet, plenty of power fits in my Silverstone Lascala home theater case. Ultra's modular is the best to keep the case clean of wires. 4th Ultra power supply I have bought, and I will buy nothing else. |

I love this power supply...
from the moment you open the package, you can sense the quality (or at least get a feeling like the company is trying to show the quality). It comes with a plethora of plugs and connectors, some are very brand or platform specific so it comes with a nice storage case for all the extra parts (love that!). My only complaint is when I bought this, I envisioned a completely zip tie free install, with no extra bundles of wires and unused connectors. Well, not exactly.. I purchased the Ultra 4X because of a new video card and I it gives me the power and features to run the card and anything else I I have or want to add to the computer.
Although I had to make a few alterations to my Dell Inspiron 530 to make this fit, bending case tabs was easy and it was well worth it. Now, there is very little wiggle room for the cords between the unit and my two DVD drives but there is enough to get the job done. It is tight!
It is quiet and efficient and WOW, does it have the expandability features!
Giving us a pouch that is designed to store your spare wires is a sales gimmick but is a nice touch because I didn't need to use all of the available cords that were provided. Keeping them in a Logo stamped bag is a deviation from keeping them in the box. |

What can I say. It's a quality power supply that does it's job and keeps air flowing through my PC by eliminating the unneccessary wiring. It is a bit pricey, but I feel it's worth it...

Does everthing I expected and then some. More than enough connections and a great case to store the extras. Very quiet. Just a great piece of equipment all the way around. |

I honestly never thought i'd say this about a power supply, but this one's pretty sexy. Everything is very well packaged, it is very easy to use, a cinch to install, and it keeps my case looking very clean(with a little cable management). I personally would buy from Ultra for all of my power supply needs. |

Had this one about a month now as an upgrade in a desktop. Its a little big for my computer which previously had a micro ATX, but it fits well, just the holes aren't lining up. It stays in place because there are some things pushing up against it on the inside. Never the less, its a wonderful supply, had not even threatened to fail me, nice big fan and the watts I need. It comes complete with more cables than you will probably ever need and a nice bag with two velcro pouches in which to keep them in case you upgrade in the future. It doesn't light up and show you the way like some supplies do but its a dependable, well built unit that I am sure will last a good long time. You should get one. |
